As the Title says...Vet's helping Vets
On Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 1315 hrs, CVMA Chaplin Marcus “Jumper” Whitt presented $300 in KARM cards to Larry Shropshire, on behalf of Morristown CVMA Chapter 18-12.  Larry is the President of the Daily Bread Community Kitchen in downtown Morristown.  He and his volunteers have been serving meals to the homeless and less fortunate “One Meal At A Time” since 1993.  Today, they fed over 350 people. Kids in attendance received Christmas gifts from Santa.

Our chapter became aware of a local veteran, Mr. Jim, a resident of English Mountain and a Vietnam Veteran, who was facing financial challenges and required assistance. In response, CVMA TN 18-12 provided him with $250 in groceries. Paul cleared his walkway and gutters, and Tara and Paul escorted him to the bank, arranged for his haircut and beard trim, and helped with other necessary items.
Consequently, Mr. Jim was extremely thankful for the support and wished to thank all CVMA TN 18-12 members for the groceries, helping him run errands, and the KARM cards.
We acknowledge the contributions of Cat Herder, Viper, Stitch, and Crossman in organizing this outreach effort, which embodies the spirit of vets helping vets!
